Common questions

What counts as a "property"?
A property is a single address or complex managed under one Portfolio Manager entry. A property can have multiple buildings and utility accounts.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 30-day free trial, no credit card required. All features included. Cancel anytime.
Do I need a Green Button account?
You need utility accounts with a Green Button-enabled Eastern US utility. Sparko walks you through the authorization during onboarding.
What if I have gaps in my data?
The coverage matrix shows exactly which months are missing. For gaps before your account was authorized, Pulse can often backfill from the utility's historical archive.
Can I export my data?
Yes — CSV exports for interval data and monthly aggregates are available on all plans. ESPM sync is included.
Is my utility data secure?
All OAuth tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest. Sparko is SOC 2 Type II in progress. Data is never shared with third parties.
